The Acura Integra was unveiled in 1986 as an alternative to luxury models such as Audi, BMW, Infiniti and Mercedes. Acura offered the 1995 Integra as both a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe. There were four trim options for both models: RS, LS, SE and GS-R.
Engine and Performance
All trim options for the 1995 Acura Integra, with the exception of the GS-R, featured a four-cylinder, 1.8-liter engine with 142 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 125 ft.-lb of torque at 5,500 rpm. The GS-R had a four-cylinder, 1.8-liter engine that cranked out 170 horsepower at 7,600 rpm and 128 ft.-lb. of torque at 6,200 rpm.
Transmission and Fuel Economy
All trim options of the 1995 Acura Integra came standard with a five-speed manual transmission, with an optional four-speed automatic transmission available on all trims except the GS-R. Fuel economy for the five-speed manual transmission was 25 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Fuel economy for the four-speed automatic transmission was 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.
All 1995 Acura Integra coupes featured five-passenger seating, with front headroom of 38.6 inches, front legroom of 42.7 inches, rear headroom of 35 inches and rear legroom of 28.1 inches. The sedan models also had room for five passengers, but with slightly more front headroom at 38.9 inches, front legroom at 42.2 inches, rear headroom at 36 inches and rear legroom at 32.7 inches. Cruise control and a manual sunroof were available on all trims, except the SE. Tilt steering, a stereo audio system and bucket seats were other standard features on all models.
The 1995 Acura Integra coupes were two-door vehicles with a length of 172.4 inches, a width of 67.3 inches and a height of 52.6 inches. Curb weight of the LS and SE coupe was between 2,643 and 2,685 lb. Curb weight for the RS and GS-R coupe was between 2,529 and 2,667 lb. All sedan models of the 1995 Acura Integra were four-door vehicles with a length of 178.1 inches, a width of 67.3 inches and a height of 53.9 inches. Curb weight for all sedan trim options was between 2,628 and 2,780 lb. Fuel capacity was 13.2 gallons for all trim options. Other standard features for all trim options included power windows and power mirrors.
All trim options of the 1995 Acura Integra, with the exception of the RS coupe, had power locks, power windows, driver and passenger airbags, and ABS brakes.
